Charity’s Closet is a signature initiative of Global Works Trust designed to provide new and gently used, high-quality clothing to fatherless and disadvantaged youth, particularly those in group homes, shelters, and high-risk environments.
Our Mission In Action
Through a unique mobile shopping experience, we bring a curated, retail-like environment directly to the youth we serve, allowing them to choose clothing they feel confident in and proud to wear. At Global Works Trust, we believe something as simple as clothing can transform how a young person sees themselves and how they show up in the world.
A Confidence-Building Experience
Charity’s Closet is not a traditional clothing drive.
It is an intentional experience where youth:
Browse and select their own clothing
Receive items that reflect quality, style, and self-worth
Engage with caring mentors and volunteers
Experience a moment of normalcy and choice
We focus specifically on youth ages 12–17, a critical stage where identity, confidence, and self-esteem are being shaped.
Meeting Youth Where They Are
Our mobile model ensures accessibility by bringing resources directly to:
Group homes
Youth shelters
Community-based programs
This approach removes barriers such as transportation and access. This ensures that no young person is left out due to circumstances.
